The RSL is embarking is on its biggest cash giveaway ever! Over a five-week period there is the potential to give away $900,000 – this is a MASSIVE prize pool where four lucky people will be given the chance to win $100,000 each Friday night of October and then finally on Friday, 2nd of November the giveaway hits its peak where FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS is up for grabs! You do have to be a member to enter the promotion, which is a simple process and is only a $2 joining fee for September.

The Corowa RSL Club is widening our scope of entertainment, new artists have been added to the calendar and it’s a very exciting move for the club to branch out to a younger market. Local favourites Toucan Rock & Southbound have a great following around the area and really cater to a wide audience will feature more heavily throughout the year while the introduction of youngster’s Jessica Lorraine and James Bennett in October will be a fantastic addition to the already stellar line up for October and November. Jessica is a versatile acoustic artist featuring mesmerising vocals, acoustic guitar, ukulele and a loop station. With a flair for unique cover arrangements and original songs making her live performances unforgettable. James Bennett is an alternative roots and folk artist from Newcastle, NSW. No stranger to playing live, James incorporates twelve & six string guitars, weissenborn lap steel, stomp box & harmonica into his performances and has been playing to audiences across the East Coast of Australia for the last seven years. Along the way James has supported for much loved Australian artists such as Diesel, Wendy Matthews, Ian Moss, The Black Sorrows, Rick Price & Dan Sultan. Returning to the club is Andrew Wishart, Andrew has a spectacular voice and as a seasoned professional engages with the audience wonderfully. Andrew’s style is derived from a mixture of musicians who influenced him as an artist which are U2, John Farnham, Dire Straits, Queen – with the showmanship of John Farnham and the sass of Freddie Mercury, Andrew is a must see for everyone!

With all the fantastic entertainment afoot, day light savings upon us and the weather fining up its time to grab your friends and family and head out for dinner. The RSL Bistro has a fabulous menu with something for everyone. The menu is updated seasonally and Head Chef Liam Whyte has truly outdone himself with the diversity of the Spring menu. The menu showcases his talents and incorporates local produce, meat and poultry with inspiration for some dishes stemming from from his fellow Chefs. The daily Café menu features items like a Mexican pulled beef burger, Vietnamese salad and a delicious grilled chicken, chilli and cheese kransky dish, at first glance it really is not a menu you expect from a club but the RSL is always breaking the mould of what you expect from a club and the food is no different.
